Description
Point Lookout’s most striking house was designed in the Japanese tradition of elegant spaces and expressed structure to create a zone of quiet contemplation. An innovative mix of raw timber, hi-tech materials and huge openings, the house becomes its native bush setting. Three bedrooms plus sleepout, large decks and a sensual bathhouse complete a stress-sapping environment.
The description from the brochure dosent begin to describe the accomodation. Every wall was cantilevered to open up so open plan really meant just that. The shower was outside i.e. you stood outside beside the bush to shower. No Telly , but a drawer full of 60's music Velvet Underground, Joni Mitchell , Ravi Shanker. Cooking you had the option of a firepit.
