SUPER DAY IN THE CITY






Yesterday was a beautiful Sunny Day with tempretures reaching around 23 degrees. David ensured we were all awake by 7a.m.. By 9a.m. we were down at the wharf catchin g the fastcat service into town. Brisbane being built on the River Brisbane has a fantastic system of landing stages and wharfes.Only 4 pounds buys you a rover ticket you can use all day,with choice of Catamaran or slower Ferry Boat. The Brisbane skyline is dominated by modern skyscrapers with classical government buidings and shops nestling at their feet. Whilst not a fan of the moderne , in this setting it was impressive, with every block having its own unique architechtural style which is then disected with unique bridges and freeways built on stilts.
