Arachnophobia

Not difficult here , these ones were about 2" Body Length and 4" across the legs.
First Day
Had a grand day out , pace was slow and gentle as befits three weary travellers, Went to the Mount Cooth-tha View Point which overlooks the city and it environs, and then we took in the Planeterium and Botanical Gardens - Day was rounded off with a lovely Kangaroo Barbecue prepared by Emma and DM. - Very tasty meat not unlike venison with a gamey flavour , but lighter colour.
Moral Danger - Weatherman
We arrived just in time.
Didnt realise what moral danger our children were in in this country.
Turned on the TV and found even the weather man swears in Australia - Not for the faint hearted - beware - foul language
Jet Lag - Myth or Reality
David was up and at them after 6 Hours snooze
But Ellie and Fiona had to be dragged out of Bed
proving that Jet Lag is just an excuse utilised by the idle and lethargic no to get up !

They said it was a Fruit Bat , but we know its really a vampire !!!!! Its about 1 foot long and 2 foot across the wings

Rumours swept through the plane that we had HRH QE2 on Board.
Unfortunately she was travelling incognito.
Whist in Dubai we managed to ignore the Gold Sellers in favour of picking up Red and White Checked Tea Towels and Gold Curtain tie back at bargain prices. The sellers had a novel way of displaying them on their heads.

Superb Flights - Three X Six Hour - 40 Minute Flights with changes at Dubai and Singapore.
All was effortless, Load of Leg Room , Food and Wine Galore . Entertainment great with over 300 channels to watch. David didnt need to read a book or watch a film, he was whisked over the clouds with Genesis , Pink Floyd, Carole King , Neil Young , Dire Straights - unfortunately he insisted on singing along with the headphones on.
Ellie had lots of snoozes in between copious quantitiies of Gourmet Grub , starting at Frankie and Bennies in Glasgow Airport.
Met off the Plane by DM and Emma and whisked off to their appartment is a huge Toyota Ute
After Champagne , we bleathered til nearly 5a.m. and then Flopped into Bed exhausted.

Ellie Just Loves Him !!!! As do we all.................
