DIFFERENT KIND OF BIRD - BRECKY THIEF

This one wanted to steal our brecky (note Australian slang)

METER MAIDS

Who wears Short Shorts - The Truth

Who wears Short Shorts - The Truth
I have just learned that I was Set Up, DM Hadnt parked badly , but a certain Agrarian Gentleman back in the UK who shall remain nameless, had tipped DM off that there were rampant "Totty Patrols" at Paradise Beach and he should make sure his innocent father was ensnared by these deshabille fillies. I know he would be most upset if I named him , so I wont suffice to say - THANKS SHAUN - Whoops Sorry!

It was an unfortunate business.

It was an unfortunate business:- Im afraid David- Mark parked his Ute extremely poorly overstaying his welcome, and it was only by good fortune that these two "Paradise Beach Meter Maids" happened along to bail us out. Obviously such delicate negotiations required a more mature approach - so Im afraid David Snr volunteered for the mission. It was a an unfortunate business but someone had to do it!!!!!

Three Apprentice Surfers

Three Apprentice Surfers - They all managed to progress to standing on their surfboards whilst riding a wave - obviously the girls had a basket of kittens strapped to the tail of their surfboards to assist with stability. (I should point out that Emma was first to master standing on her board - no -not the Ironing Board! the Surf Board)

Surfers Paradise 2

Surfers Paradise 2

Surfers Paradise

Today we went south down the Gold Coast to Surfers Paradise, so that Ellie , Emma and DM could get a surfing lesson. Surfers Paradise is a 21st Century Blackpool, whos main attraction is the fantastic rolling ocean, but other than that it is a rather tacky mix of cheap souvenir, ice cream parlours and fast food outlets , Club 18-30 really. The kids had a great time , and we did manage to find a lovely Italian Cafe for a Cappucino, and we joined and signed into "The Queensland Surfers Club" Established 1927 where we all had a nice lunch. The evening was a quiet affair with the kids tired after all their exertions. Unfortunately it was made memorable by DM's neighbour coming to the door and announcing she had clobbered his Ford Ka car in the car park under our appartment.
